That last post reminded us of one of our favorite quotes from Doctor Who guest star alumnus (Series 1: The Long Game), Simon Pegg:
“Being a geek is all about being honest about what you enjoy and not being afraid to demonstrate that affection. It means never having to play it cool about how much you like something. It’s basically a license to proudly emote on a somewhat childish level rather than behave like a supposed adult. Being a geek is extremely liberating.”
I suppose since I now have people I don't actually know following me I should probably write something here. I'm a psychology student (looking at grad school for experimental psych because I would make an awful therapist) from the Pacific Northwest. I like lots of things, so this blog is pretty much a mish-mash of things that amuse me. I also like to decorate cookies like fictional characters, and if I ever figure out how to I may create a page just to show those. Although the Myers-Briggs indicator is, scientifically speaking, unreliable and probably not very valid, The description of an INTJ fits me to a tee, so I direct you there instead of attempting to explain my personality. Feel free to ask me questions, though I'm not especially interesting.
P.S. If you've read The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner and its sequels, message me and we will be friends forever. Not kidding.
